Role Description

  • This is a Locum role located in Lagos, requiring onsite presence in the hospital setting and active participation in patient care. The Sonographer is expected to contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Medicine and diagnostic imaging principles relevant to sonography.
  • Competence in safe use of imaging equipment and understanding of radiologic procedures.
  • Diploma or degree in Sonography, Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with relevant national or regional professional bodies in Nigeria, as applicable.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to produce accurate reports under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, continuous professional development, and adherence to hospital policies.

Registration and a current valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). National Service: Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate. Practical Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of post-qualification or practical diagnostic ultrasound experience.
