Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team.
  • The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, produce accurate diagnostic images, maintain equipment, and provide professional, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general ultrasound scans in line with clinical protocols.
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and privacy.
  • Capture, assess, and document clear diagnostic images.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality.
  • Work closely with radiologists, doctors, and other clinical staff in meetings, audits and research projects.
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Medical Sonography, Radiography, or a related field.
  • Current professional licence/registration (post graduate diploma in ultrasound is an advantage).
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience post MBBS or RRBN registration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.

Registration and a current valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). National Service: Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate. Practical Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of post-qualification or practical diagnostic ultrasound experience.
