Job Summary

  • We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Personnel to protect our premises, assets, and personnel.
  • The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of visibility, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure the safety of staff and visitors through patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and authorize entry of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
  • Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting / emergency equipment.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to employees and customers.
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, property patrol, access control, and accident investigations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
  • Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Physical fitness to stand or walk for extended periods and perform occasional physical intervention if necessary
  • Proximity to work location - Ogba, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Ojodu berger, Akute or Ikeja axis.
