Position Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Executive who will play a vital role in driving sales growth and market penetration within the assigned territory by promoting the company's products and services. The role involves delivering set revenue targets, managing key distributor accounts and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to hardware stores, distributors, contractors, developers, construction sites, and other potential customers to generate and grow business opportunities.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities into active and repeat customers within the assigned territory.
  • Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, distributors and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage key customer accounts, respond to inquiries, address complaints, and provide appropriate product information, technical guidance, and after-sales support.
  • Generate customer orders and coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure timely processing, delivery and fulfilment.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain sound credit-control practices within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, product pricing, customer preferences and emerging business opportunities and provide regular market intelligence to Management.
  • Support and coordinate local marketing campaigns, product promotions, activations, site branding and other initiatives aimed at increasing product and brand visibility.
  • Prepare and submit timely daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales team members within the assigned territory and ensure effective execution of sales plans.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to sales team members to improve performance and achieve agreed targets.
  • Lead by example in customer acquisition, field sales, relationship management and achievement of individual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, technical, procurement, finance and other relevant teams to ensure effective fulfilment of customer and project requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, market developments, customer feedback, team performance and opportunities for business growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' sales executive experience in a Manufacturing, Building and Construction industry, marketing or related role.
