ABOUT THE ROLE

Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is seeking qualified, compassionate and experienced Medical Doctors to provide quality clinical care and contribute to the effective implementation of health programme activities for vulnerable and crisis-affected populations.

The Medical Doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care to patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines, national protocols and applicable humanitarian health standards.

The successful candidates will work closely with nurses, midwives, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, community health workers and other programme staff to ensure that patients receive timely, safe, respectful and appropriate care.

The role will also contribute to disease prevention, health promotion, clinical documentation, referrals, emergency response and the continuous improvement of quality of care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Assessment and Patient Care

  • Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, clinical assessments and physical examinations.

  • Provide clinical support for maternal, newborn and child health services as applicable to the programme.

  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and other conditions requiring specialized care and referral.
  • Support health education and counselling for patients, caregivers and communities.

Clinical Documentation and Patient Records

  • Ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation of patient consultations and treatment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records and medical information.
  • Ensure appropriate completion of medical registers, referral forms, prescriptions and other clinical documentation.
  • Review patient records to support continuity and quality of care.
  • Contribute to accurate health programme reporting and data collection.

Referral and Continuity of Care

  • Identify cases requiring referral to secondary or tertiary healthcare facilities.

Health Promotion and Community Engagement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration and current practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience after qualification and registration.

ABOUT THE ROLE Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is seeking a qualified, competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support laboratory services and diagnostic investigations within its health programme. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory investigations, collecting and processing specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment, managing reagents and supplies, and ensuring the accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory results. The post holder will work closely with medical doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists and other healthcare personnel to support timely diagnosis, clinical decision-making and quality patient care. The successful candidate will ensure that laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with approved clinical protocols, infection prevention and control standards, laboratory safety procedures and applicable professional regulations.
