About the Role

  • We are seeking a competent and results-driven Engineer to provide technical oversight on our construction and property development projects, ensuring quality, safety, compliance and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor construction activities on site.
  • Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
  • Review drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors and consultants.
  • Monitor workmanship, materials, quality and construction progress.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related challenges.
  • Monitor project schedules and support timely delivery.
  • Review contractors’ work and ensure proper execution.
  • Assist with material requirements and technical documentation.
  • Promote compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical advice to management when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate development.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of project coordination and quality control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities.
  • COREN or relevant professional registration is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
