Job Summary

  • Develop brand positioning and qualified consumer demand through relevant brand communication, campaignsand dealer experiences.
  • Translate the personal mobility portfolio plan into activity that builds consideration andhelps prospective customers progress from enquiry to a meaningful Sales interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and quarterly personal mobility brand plans under the Mobility Marketing Manager, setting audience priorities, messaging, campaign activities and approved budgets.
  • Research consumer needs, motivations, objections and competitors; use the findings to sharpen positioning and translate verified product features into relevant personal mobility benefits.
  • Plan consumer campaigns, product experiences, demonstrations, dealer events and appropriate partnerships, agreeing objectives, briefs, budgets, owners and schedules.
  • Brief internal creative and social media specialists and approved agencies; review communication for clarity, product accuracy and consistent application of the brand identity.
  • Coordinate local activity through the Regional Marketing Lead and collaborate with Sales and dealers on customer experiences, follow-up requirements and marketing materials.
  • Agree qualified enquiry criteria and handover processes with Sales; monitor the customer journey and use lead quality and follow-up feedback to improve campaign design.
  • Manage the marketing workstream for new products and promotions, coordinating launch messages, dealer materials and campaign milestones with the relevant business teams.
  • Track approved spending and campaign results, audit selected customer touchpoints, and recommend improvements to content, activity and investment allocation.
  • Report consumer and competitive developments, escalating stock, pricing, service and sales follow-up constraints to the appropriate owners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline with 3 – 5 years of relevant brand or consumer marketing experience, including campaign and budget responsibility; stronger equivalent experience will be considered. 
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, consumer durables, FMCG or another considered-purchase category is an advantage.
  • A record of producing clear campaign briefs and using consumer insight and performance data to improve marketing activity.
  • Strong communication, agency and stakeholder coordination skills, with willingness to travel across Nigeria.
