KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise daily civil, mechanical and electrical construction activities.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor mobilisation, manpower and productivity.
  • Supervise 33kV, 11kV and LV overhead line construction.
  • Support substation, underground cabling and metering infrastructure works.
  • Monitor equipment, pole and other civil foundations.
  • Review daily work progress and identify delays, risks and non-conformances.
  • Coordinate with contractors, Owner's Engineers and grid operators.
  • Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
  • Maintain construction drawings, test reports and other site documentation.
  • Monitor health, safety and workmanship standards on site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in power distribution or infrastructure construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, designs, calculations and standards.
  • Experience with 33kV/11kV networks, LV OH lines, substations and UG cabling is highly desirable.
  • GIS and AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills..
  • Must be based in the location or willing to relocate.
  • Willingness to work full-time on site and travel when required.
