Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-onInterior Design Project Manager to join our team.
  • We are looking for a confident project professional who can take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, drive execution from planning through completion, coordinate diverse teams, manage project budgets, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure that every project meets DSS standards for quality, detail and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple interior design projects concurrently from project initiation through completion.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, timelines and execution milestones.
  • CoordinatingSite Supervisors, Contractors, Artisans, Vendors, Procurement teams and other project stakeholders.
  • Taking hands-on responsibility for project execution and ensuring work progresses according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards and timelines.
  • Managing project budgets, monitoring costs, tracking expenditure and identifying potential cost overruns or financial risks.
  • Conducting regular site visits and ensuring proper coordination and execution of works on-site.
  • Managing and resolving project-related issues, delays, conflicts and execution challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Working directly with clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, addressing concerns and maintaining professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring materials, finishes, installations and workmanship meet the required quality and design specifications.
  • Monitoring contractors and artisans to ensure adherence to agreed timelines, scope and quality expectations.
  • Reviewing project progress and ensuring proper follow-through on deliverables and outstanding actions.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, records and updates using Zoho and other relevant project management tools.
  • Ensuring effective use of project workflows, task tracking, time logs, project reports and other internal systems.
  • Preparing regular project status reports for management and escalating critical issues when necessary.
  • Supporting project close-out, snagging, handover and post-project documentation.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree/HND in Architecture, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, preferably within interior design, architecture, construction or a related project-based environment.
  • Strong practical understanding of interior design and construction project processes.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage artisans, contractors, vendors, Site Supervisors and other project teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost monitoring and financial control.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Strong planning, organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Zoho, with the ability to consistently maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other relevant project management tools.
  • A professional presence, confidence and the ability to maintain authority while working collaboratively with different stakeholders.
  • Professional project management certifications such as PMP, QS or similar will be an added advantage.

  • Salary: N300,000 – N400,000 Net Monthly.
