We are seeking a smart, organised and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
The Sales Associate will play an important role in the day-to-day sales and customer-service operations of the business, supporting customers across the showroom and digital sales channels while ensuring that orders, records, inventory information and related administrative processes are properly managed.
This is a multifaceted role suited to someone who combines strong customer-service ability with commercial awareness, organisation, attention to detail and administrative competence.
The successful candidate will interact directly with customers, manage sales enquiries and orders, support inventory and order fulfilment, prepare invoices and sales records, coordinate deliveries, support product presentation and marketing activities, and contribute to maintaining the premium experience expected of the AABOUX brand.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates professionally and understands that in a luxury environment, every detail contributes to the customer's perception of the brand.
- Attend to customers professionally across in-store and digital channels.
- Provide excellent customer service during face-to-face interactions and through social media, WhatsApp and other approved communication channels.
- Understand customers' needs and provide accurate information about available products.
- Support customers through product selection and the purchasing process.
- Follow up appropriately on customer enquiries and orders.
- Maintain a professional, warm and customer-focused approach at all times.

- Support online, showroom and stockist sales activities.

Online & Social Media Customer Engagement
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries received through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and other approved platforms.
- Monitor relevant customer comments, messages and enquiries.
- Ensure customer enquiries are appropriately followed through to resolution or purchase.
- Support approved promotional and product-related postings.
- Maintain appropriate brand tone and professionalism in digital customer interactions.
- Escalate customer complaints or complex enquiries appropriately.
Order Processing & Fulfilment
- Process online and in-store customer orders accurately.
- Confirm relevant order details before processing.
- Track orders from confirmation through dispatch and delivery.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Liaise with approved logistics partners, including DHL, for customer deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery and fulfilment records.
- Follow up where necessary to confirm successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Promptly escalate potential delays or fulfilment issues.
Sales Administration & Invoicing
- Prepare accurate customer invoices using Wave.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, receipts and sales transactions.
- Support document retention and general sales administration.
- Maintain organised electronic and physical records where required.
- Support procurement requests and relevant administrative documentation.
- Assist with documentation required for audits and other business processes.
- Ensure sales and administrative records are accurate, current and easily retrievable.
Sales Reporting & Data Management
- Create, maintain and update sales reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and transactions.
- Prepare required daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure information reported corresponds with available internal records.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation for transactions.
- Assist Management with relevant sales and operational information when required.
- Identify and report discrepancies promptly.
Inventory & Stock Support
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory information.
- Work closely with the Storekeeper to ensure stock records are properly updated.
- Identify stock items approaching agreed reorder levels.
- Communicate replenishment requirements promptly.
- Support periodic inventory checks and reconciliations.
- Ensure product movement is properly documented.
- Liaise with stockists and retail outlets regarding stock status and customer orders.
- Report inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate petty-cash and approved expenditure records.
- Support budget tracking as assigned.
- Maintain appropriate receipts and supporting documents.
- Assist with daily sales reconciliation.
- Prepare required weekly financial summaries.
- Ensure financial records under the role's responsibility are properly organised and available for review.
- Promptly report any discrepancies identified during reconciliation.
Product Presentation & Photography
- Capture clear, high-quality product photographs using an iPhone for approved website, catalogue and sales purposes.
- Ensure new products are appropriately photographed within required timelines.
- Support the organisation and maintenance of digital product images.
- Ensure visual materials accurately represent the relevant products.
- Maintain attention to product presentation, lighting, composition and brand standards.
Catalogue & Marketing Support
- Assist in preparing product linesheets, catalogues and promotional materials using Canva.
- Support the creation and updating of physical and digital product catalogues.
- Ensure product information contained in catalogues and linesheets is accurate.
- Support approved sales and marketing campaigns.
- Assist with promotional materials required for product launches, events and other business activities.
- Ensure materials created are consistent with approved AABOUX brand guidelines.
Production & Custom Order Coordination
- Liaise with the Production Team regarding new stock and custom orders.
- Communicate relevant customer-order requirements accurately.
- Follow up on production status where required.
- Ensure customer-facing teams have appropriate updates on outstanding orders.
- Escalate potential production delays that may affect customer commitments.
- Support smooth coordination between sales, production and order fulfilment.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of AABOUX quality-control standards.
- Inspect products before display, dispatch or customer collection as required.
- Identify and report visible defects or quality concerns.
- Ensure defective products are appropriately flagged before reaching customers.
- Complete required quality-control documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of identified product issues.
- Escalate recurring quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensure the showroom remains clean, organised and appropriately presented.
- Maintain products and displays in line with the brand's presentation standards.
- Ensure customer-facing areas remain welcoming and professional.
- Conduct required showroom checks.
- Report maintenance, presentation or operational issues promptly.

Events, Exhibitions & Pop-Ups
- Support AABOUX at exhibitions, fashion shows, pop-ups and other approved events.
- Assist with event preparation and product organisation.
- Support set-up and breakdown activities where required.
- Attend to customers and support sales during events.
- Maintain accurate sales and product records during events.
- Assist with post-event reporting, including relevant sales information and customer feedback.
General Administrative & Operational Support
- Support general office administration as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.
- Assist with procurement requests and related records.
- Support the preparation and organisation of documentation required for audits.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned in support of the effective operation of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should have:
- OND, HND, B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, administration or a related customer-facing role.
- Experience within luxury retail, fashion, leather goods, lifestyle or another premium customer-facing environment will be an advantage.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google suit, particularly Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of Canva.
- Ability to learn and effectively use invoicing and business applications such as Wave.
- Familiarity with Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook and other relevant digital platforms.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, sales records and inventory information.

The right person for this position understands that a Sales Associate at AABOUX represents more than a point of sale.
