Radiographer At Carepoint Hospitals Limited

CarePoint Hospitals is seeking a qualified and experienced Radiographer to join our team and provide safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays and other imaging procedures within the scope of practice.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring appropriate positioning and exposure.
• Apply radiation safety and protection measures for patients, staff, and visitors at all times.
• Review images for quality and ensure that required views have been appropriately obtained.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging documentation.
• Work closely with Radiologists, Physicians, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care.
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices during imaging procedures.
• Monitor the condition and functionality of imaging equipment and promptly report faults or maintenance needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement activities, and relevant training programmes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography.
• Valid registration and practicing license with the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
• Previous experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, or healthcare facility is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, radiation protection, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good patient-care and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
