About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys and legal teams in managing case-related activities, legal documentation, client communication, and litigation support functions.
  • The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a law firm environment, strong organizational skills, excellent English communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal setting.

Location

  • Nairobi Kenya 100% On-Site

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM PST

Candidates must be available to consistently work within these hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, letters, and legal documents.
  • Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and organize case files using case management and document management systems.
  • Conduct legal research and gather supporting information for ongoing matters.
  • Assist attorneys with hearing, deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
  • Manage case calendars, deadlines, appointments, and litigation timelines.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates and required documentation.
  • Track and manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
  • Ensure legal records, filings, and case documentation are maintained accurately and timely.
  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Currently pursuing or have completed studies in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of Paralegal experience.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
