Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee the bank\'s overall operations and business performance.

Requirement

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A Master\'s degree or relevant professional certification (CIBN, ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years\' relevant experience in banking or financial services, with substantial experience in microfinance banking.
  • At least 5 years\' experience in a senior management or executive leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of microfinance banking operations, credit administration, risk management, and CBN regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of business growth, financial management, and team leadership.

Work closely with the Managing Director, Operations, Technology, and other relevant teams to ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and commercially viable solutions are delivered. Provide coaching, direction, and support to the Sales Engineer and other sales personnel to improve sales performance and customer engagement. Monitor customer feedback, market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the fuel technology, energy, and mobility sectors. Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and performance analyses for management review. Analyse sales performance against targets and implement appropriate actions to address gaps and improve revenue generation. Support the development of pricing and commercial strategies that balance customer value, market competitiveness, and company profitability. Represent the company at relevant industry events, client meetings, networking sessions, and business development activities. Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer interactions, sales activities, proposals, and business opportunities. Continuously identify opportunities to improve the company's sales process, customer acquisition strategy, and overall commercial performance. Requirement Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution. 7 - 10 years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably within the energy, fuel, oil & gas, mobility, industrial technology, or related sectors. Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, key account management, and revenue generation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience selling products, services, technology, or technical solutions to corporate clients, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer and business relationships. Strong sales pipeline management skills, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, proposal development, conversion, and accurate sales forecasting. Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of pricing, customer acquisition, value proposition, revenue generation, and commercial decision-making. Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability, with experience supervising, coordinating, or developing sales team members to improve performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess sales performance, market trends, customer needs, and business challenges and develop practical solutions.
