Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and oversee cashew processing machines and equipment to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor machine performance and conduct routine inspections to detect issues, performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment for optimal performance.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Record production data, including machine performance, downtime, and output quality, and report findings to the Production Manager.
  • Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and optimizing production efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or industrial operations is an asset.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating production machinery, preferably in a food processing or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating boiler and packaging machines is a plus.

The successful candidate will ensure that blistering operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), approved SOPs, batch packaging records, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor automatic and semi-automatic blister packaging machines for pharmaceutical products. Set up blistering machines according to approved batch packaging instructions and SOPs. Perform machine changeovers, product changeovers, and format adjustments. Ensure correct feeding and handling of tablets/capsules during the blistering process. Set and monitor machine parameters including forming temperature, sealing temperature, machine speed, pressure, and other applicable process parameters. Conduct routine in-process checks for: Blister seal integrity Correct tablet/capsule count Product appearance Batch number and expiry-date printing Foil and PVC/PVDC alignment Correct cutting and blister formation Leak/seal quality where applicable Perform and document line clearance before commencing each batch.
