The position

  • As an Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of company assets and inventory.
  • You will support the proper documentation, tracking and management of company assets and inventory, while also providing administrative support to the team as required.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of company assets.
  • Track company assets and ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
  • Support the movement, allocation and tracking of inventory and company assets.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile records where necessary.
  • Maintain organised documentation for easy tracking and reference.
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Recommend replenishment based on approved stock levels. Investigate inventory discrepancies and variances. Recommend corrective actions relating to inventory losses. Escalate significant inventory risks and control issues to the General Manager. Direct and coordinate the activities of Inventory Officers and Site Store teams within approved procedures. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a strong inventory and stores professional with experience in construction, real estate development, manufacturing, engineering, warehousing or a related operational environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate: Strong knowledge of inventory and stock control systems. Experience managing inventory across multiple locations or project sites. Strong reconciliation and variance-investigation skills. Experience supervising stores or inventory teams. Good understanding of material receiving, storage and issuance controls. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to identify and prevent inventory losses, wastage and unauthorised movements. Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline. Strong communication and coordination skills. High integrity, accountability and asset-consciousness. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP management systems. Job Summary As an Inventory Clerk, you are responsible for efficiently managing all materials, tools, and equipment used at the site. This role ensures proper documentation, storage, issuance, and replenishment of materials to support continuous site operations. You must maintain accurate inventory records, prevent material loss, and support cost control efforts. You will work closely with the management, operations, and procurement teams to support a seamless process. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Receive, inspect and record all construction materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the site.
