Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support HR operations across multiple retail stores and a large workforce.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, performance management, and workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment, interviews, selection, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain accurate staff records, attendance, leave, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Support payroll by reviewing attendance, overtime, deductions, and staff changes.
  • Handle employee relations, complaints, disciplinary cases, and workplace issues.
  • Support performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and applicable employment regulations across all stores.
  • Prepare HR reports covering headcount, turnover, attendance, recruitment, and performance.
  • Coordinate staff training, orientation, and employee engagement activities.
  • Work closely with store managers to identify staffing needs and resolve HR-related issues.
  • Manage HR systems and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for HR reporting, data tracking, and workforce records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably supporting multiple retail locations or large workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Experience handling employee complaints, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR management systems.
  • Good understanding of employment policies and applicable labour regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with store managers and employees across different locations.
