Job Summary

  • The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the aviation business and its subsidiaries, ensuring business plans are properly executed, performance targets are achieved, and operations remain efficient and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the company's business strategy into clear operational plans and ensure effective execution.
  • Set, monitor, and drive achievement of revenue, profitability, operational, and service targets.
  • Oversee the performance of subsidiaries and ensure their activities align with overall Group objectives.
  • Develop and enforce efficient processes, SOPs, controls, and service standards across the businesses.
  • Lead and coordinate senior management teams, ensuring accountability and effective performance.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, improved revenue, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, financial performance, and the effective use of company resources.
  • Manage relationships with key clients, strategic partners, vendors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, operational quality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor business performance, prepare management reports, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support employee development, teamwork, accountability, and a positive performance culture.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and management team on strategic decisions and business improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Aviation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant management experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing teams, business operations, or multiple business units.
  • Strong understanding of business performance, financial management, and operational processes.
  • Experience in aviation or a related industry is an advantage.
