The role holder is responsible for marketing and selling AP Lubricant products while providing consistent, high-quality technical support to AP customers
Responsibilities
Work with the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing to develop visitation/activity schedule/plan to facilitate realization of the sales target.
Develop a sales plan based on the approved sales strategy in conjunction with the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing.
Carry out regular customer visitations and manage customer relationships.
Proactively identify and report on potential revenue streams.
Process customer orders and follow-up with distribution personnel to ensure prompt product delivery in line with organizational policies.
Provide technical services to current and prospective customers to drive product sales and increase customer satisfaction.
Log and address customer complaints; escalate appropriate issues and follow-up with relevant personnel to ensure proper resolution.
Proactively gather current customer data/information and regularly update customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Keep abreast of relevant developments in customer operations i.e. procurement of new technology that may impact on their continued business dealings with AP and communicate appropriately to the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing for immediate attention.
Collate and analyze sales data and generate periodic sales reports for the attention of the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing. Also monitor and report competitor's activities.
Prepare agreed activity and performance reports on a timely basis, for the attention of the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing and other relevant parties.
Execute additional strategic and operational responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, AP Lubricants Sales & Marketing to support business objectives.
Role Requirement
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related technical discipline
Master's degree in engineering, Industrial Chemistry is an added advantage
Proficient speaker in Hausa Language
