As such, we look to facilitate investments and trade whilst also bridge the information gap with respect to the various opportunities that exist in Africa. We are currently focused on Nigeria's Agricultural sector. Over the last 5 years we have hosted a number of Agricultural Investment Conferences in strategic cities around the world including; Luxembourg , Accra, Lagos, Abuja, Frankfurt, Belgium, The Netherlands , and London. These opportunities have provided us with brand recognition, a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with investing in Africa's Agricultural sector, as well as a rich network inclusive of Africa's Agribusiness stakeholders, investment and finance executives, leading fund managers, private equity firms, family offices, institutional investors donors as well as large agribusiness related firms from around the world. Today we are better known in some rooms than others, and often for our events. An investor who meets us at the Agri-Investment and Capital Markets Forum, sees a W2A Trade shipment and follows the Group CEO on LinkedIn should recognise one organisation each time. This role makes that happen. You will define how the group and its entities relate and present themselves, build the Group CEO's international profile as a leader and entrepreneur, and make our track record visible, because proof persuades where promises do not. You will also guard our credibility: we never announce what is not confirmed and never overstate a partnership. As the group raises capital and opens new markets, the quality of this work will shape how every conversation begins. What You Will Own Define the brand architecture for the holding company, Welcome2Africa International, W2A Connect, W2A Trade, W2A Impact Capital, W2A Impact Foundation and W2A Farms. Develop the positioning and core narrative for the group and each entity, presenting Welcome2Africa as a global investment and trade group. Build the Group CEO's international profile: thought leadership, speaking platforms, media and LinkedIn, treating every engagement as a brand opportunity. Turn delivered results into content: missions, deal rooms, shipments and closed transactions, documented and told well across our channels. Lead corporate communications and media relations in our priority markets across Europe, the Gulf, Asia, the Americas and Africa. Lead communications for our flagship forums, deal rooms and missions, and strengthen our offer to sponsors. Set and uphold brand standards across investor decks, proposals, websites and all external documents. Own reputation management, crisis communications and the approval standard for public announcements, and keep a growing team aligned through internal communications. What success looks like in your first 12 months: A clear group and entity brand system is in place and used consistently across the organisation. Investors and partners can describe what Welcome2Africa is and what each entity does after a single encounter. Our results are documented and visible: every major mission and transaction milestone is told well. The Group CEO has a stronger international profile on the platforms that matter to our audiences. Materials leaving the organisation meet one standard, whoever produced them. What You Bring Senior experience leading communications and brand, ideally in financial services, investment, international development or trade. Proven ability to build a brand through a period of change, such as a restructuring, expansion or repositioning. Outstanding writing and editorial judgement, and a strong eye for design. Experience communicating with international investor, government and institutional audiences. The ability to think strategically and still produce excellent work with your own hands while the team is built. Salary N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
