The Deposit Mobilization Offer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and grow deposit liabilities for the bank. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, identifying new deposit opportunities, and ensuring sustained growth in the bank's deposit portfolio in line with set targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective deposit mobilization strategies to meet or exceed set targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the bank's deposit base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, corporate bodies, and institutions.
Manage and monitor deposit accounts to ensure retention and growth.
Prepare regular performance reports on deposit mobilisation activities and achievements.
Work closely with the marketing team to design and roll out deposit-focused campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Ensure all deposit mobilization activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Train and guide team members or deposit officers to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Represent the bank at business forums, trade fairs, and networking events to promote deposit products.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and annual deposit mobilization targets.
Growth in number and value of deposit accounts.
Retention rate of deposit customers.
Contribution to overall liability growth of the bank.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 2 to 5 years' proven experience in deposit mobilisation, business development, or relationship management within the financial services sector.
Strong network and relationship with potential deposit clients and institutions.
