Manage all construction activities within the assigned residential zone on a day-to-day basis
Monitor the look-ahead programme for the zone; raise any risk of delay to the Construction Manager immediately
Coordinate all subcontract trade gangs within the zone; manage trade sequencing to prevent clashes and maximise productivity
Attend the daily site coordination meeting with the Construction Manager; represent the zone\'s status, issues, and requests
Produce a daily progress report for the zone and submit to the Construction Manager
Enforce quality standards within the zone; support the Site Engineers and Quality Control Inspector in ensuring all inspection hold points are observed
Enforce site safety standards within the zone in accordance with the HSE Plan; report all incidents to the HSE Manager
Manage the zone\'s temporary works including scaffolding, hoarding, access, and welfare
Coordinate with the Site Engineers on structural works sequencing and any site conditions or design queries requiring resolution
Work closely with the parallel Zone Construction Manager to share learnings, align sequencing, and maintain a consistent construction standard across all blocks
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with demonstrated experience managing multi-building residential construction in Lagos
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction, flat slab systems, blockwork, and general building works
Experience managing large teams across multiple concurrent structures
COREN registration or NIOB membership is beneficial
