The Wealth Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
This role involves advising clients on financial planning, investment options, and wealth-building strategies aligned with their business and personal objectives.
The Wealth Manager will meet with micro-entrepreneur clients, assess their financial needs, design tailored financial plans, and recommend appropriate savings, investment, and insurance solutions.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring client portfolios, conducting market and product research, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The role also includes collaborating with other bank teams to enhance client experience, delivering financial education, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to assess client needs and develop comprehensive wealth strategies.
Candidates should possess expertise in Investment Management and Investments to construct, monitor, and optimize client portfolios.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products to help clients manage risk and protect assets.
Candidates should possess solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain financial concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications in wealth management or financial planning are an advantage.
Experience in banking, microfinance, or financial advisory services, particularly with small business or retail clients, is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria, manage multiple client portfolios, and adhere to ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
