About the role
The Recruitment Analyst drives end-to-end talent acquisition, building proactive talent pipelines, engaging active and passive candidates, and using recruitment data to continuously sharpen sourcing strategy.
The role partners closely with HR and hiring managers to streamline hiring processes, strengthen the organisation's employer brand, and support broader talent retention efforts.
Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development:
Proactively build talent pipelines for current and future organisational needs by sourcing qualified candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, internal databases, etc.)
Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with both active and passive candidates
Conduct market research and recommend new channels for candidate sourcing, including job boards, professional networks, and university partnerships
Candidate Screening & Hiring Support:
Support the screening and assessment of candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and assessing candidate qualifications against job requirements
Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to understand job requirements and align recruitment strategies to meet talent needs
Provide support in scheduling interviews, creating candidate shortlists, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process
Recruitment Analytics & Reporting:
Analyse recruitment data and metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) to identify trends and improve the effectiveness of sourcing strategies
Provide regular reporting and analysis of recruitment activities and outcomes to support decision-making
Process Improvement & Collaboration:
Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to ensure efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and maintain high standards of candidate experience
Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to streamline interview procedures and ensure consistency across departments
Employer Branding & Campus Engagement:
Assist in organising and attending career fairs, networking events, and university recruitment programs to enhance the organisation's visibility and talent pool
Build and maintain relationships with universities, student organisations, and career centers
Retention Support:
Support retention initiatives by analysing exit interview data and providing insights on turnover rates
Recommend recruitment practices that enhance employee engagement and long-term retention
What we are looking for
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
2 - 3 years' hands-on experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist
Proven knowledge and hands-on experience using Human Resources Management Systems
High efficiency with HR operations including hiring, payroll, recruitment, selection, benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred
Proficient use of organisation's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
Skills & Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills and capable of communicating with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds
