Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation of fuel dispensers and related equipment at pilot and subsequent QuickFuel stations.
Develop installation plans, work schedules, resource requirements, and timelines to ensure projects are completed safely and within agreed deadlines.
Lead and supervise site supervisors, technicians, contractors, and other field personnel involved in installation and maintenance activities.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, IT, and other site interfaces to ensure all installation activities are properly integrated.
Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of dispensers and associated station equipment.
Ensure that all installation activities comply with approved technical specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify installation issues, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues and maintain project timelines.
Manage the commissioning and handover process, ensuring that all equipment is tested, functional, properly documented, and ready for operation.
Establish and manage post-installation support, warranty, maintenance, and field service activities for installed equipment.
Plan and coordinate the movement, storage, and availability of equipment, tools, spare parts, and other materials required for installation and field operations.
Monitor inventory of critical spares and coordinate timely replenishment to minimise equipment downtime and delays in field operations.
Develop and maintain installation, commissioning, maintenance, and handover documentation for all completed sites.
Monitor the performance of field teams and contractors, ensuring adherence to work plans, quality requirements, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Identify recurring technical and operational challenges and work with relevant teams to develop practical solutions and improve installation processes.
Prepare regular reports on installation progress, site activities, equipment status, field service issues, project risks, and operational performance for management review.
Requirement
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline from a recognized institution.
7 - 10 years of relevant experience in operations, installation, commissioning, or field service within fuel stations, industrial plants, energy equipment, oil & gas, or a related environment.
Proven experience managing installation projects involving mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, or related technical works.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant technical or project management tools.
Willingness to travel to project and station sites as required.
Required Competencies:
Strong experience leading site teams, technicians, contractors, and other field personnel, with the ability to coordinate activities and ensure effective team performance.
Practical knowledge of fuel dispensing systems, station equipment, industrial equipment, and related energy infrastructure, with strong installation and commissioning expertise.
Proven experience planning and executing installation projects, including coordinating site activities, resources, timelines, and technical requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience coordinating equipment testing, commissioning, handover, maintenance, warranty, and field service activities to ensure equipment is operational and properly supported.
Strong understanding of workplace safety, quality control, site procedures, and applicable technical and regulatory requirements, with the ability to maintain safe and compliant work environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, installation plans, and equipment documentation, with strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage field logistics, equipment movement, tools, spare parts, and other operational resources required for efficient site installation and maintenance.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, technical teams, and other project stakeholders.
Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to provide clear updates on project progress, site activities, technical issues, risks, and operational performance.
