Role Description

  • The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling Integrated Dairies' products to existing and prospective customers, including retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers.
  • Daily activities include visiting customers, presenting product offerings, negotiating pricing and terms, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with the logistics team.
  • The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and reporting on sales performance to support business growth.
  • The Sales Representative will also maintain accurate records of sales activities, participate in promotional events, and uphold company standards in customer service and brand representation.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing and product promotion, with an understanding of retail and distribution channels.
  • Organizational and time management skills to plan sales routes, prioritize accounts, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Familiarity with the FMCG or food and beverage sector; experience in dairy or related industries is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) for reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, travel within assigned territory, and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Asaba and surrounding regions is beneficial.
