Duties and Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment.
  • Restaurant Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, from food preparation to customer service.
  • The Restaurant Supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the dining room, ensuring customer satisfaction, coordinating kitchen activities, and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Our ideal candidate has a solid background in the restaurant industry with strong leadership skills.
  • Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all front and back of the house restaurant operations
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
  • Maintaining quality control for all food served
  • Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer's experiences
  • Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards
  • Generate weeklyandmonthlyreports
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
  • Addressing problems and troubleshooting
  • Ensure that all the administrative functions are performed accurately, such as cash handling, credit card transactions, and staff scheduling
  • Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
  • Creating work schedules for the staff.
  • Checking the kitchen to make sure it's clean and follows safety regulations.
  • Making sure the food is prepared, presented, and stored correctly.
  • Checking on customers to see if they are happy with their meal and service.
  • Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies when needed.
  • Reading customer feedback and finding ways to improve the restaurant.
  • Handling any customer complaints professionally.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, any other course or in hospitality
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • Male for gender balance
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to stand for long periods.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Basic accounting skills, experience in restaurant management software (POS).
