Summary

• To strengthen our growing operations in Kano, NutriK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Operator to join our Production Department.

Overall Mission

General objective:

• To operate food production equipment and carry out production activities in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, food safety (HACCP), and health & safety requirements, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent production of NutriK FZE food products.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Execute assigned production tasks (mixing, filling, packaging, labelling, etc.) as per production plans.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (GMP, HACCP).
• Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunction or deviation.
• Monitor product quality during production and immediately report nonconformities.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and production areas.
• Accurately record production data (quantities produced, downtime, wastage).
• Assist in setting up and changing over production lines.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) rules always.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork within the production unit.
• Perform any other productionrelated duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

• Education degree - SSCE or any Diploma in a Science related discipline
• Work experience - Minimum of 1 year experience in production or other operations.
• Language skills - English
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial production preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
• Computer skills - N/A.
