Role Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the delivery and continuous improvement of digital products. The successful candidate will translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements, prioritise the product backlog, and work closely with technology and business teams to deliver high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Gather and translate business and customer requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, risk, and technical considerations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Business, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies where required.
  • Make informed product decisions using customer feedback, data, market insights, and business objectives.
  • Ensure products meet applicable security, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Track product performance and define KPIs to measure adoption, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
  • Identify product risks, dependencies, and opportunities and drive timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Product Management/Product Ownership, preferably within banking, fintech, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with digital banking, payments, lending, cards, or other financial products is an advantage.
