Job Summary

  • We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our community pharmacy team.
  • The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, attending to customers, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist with dispensing and preparing medications according to prescriptions and established procedures.
  • Receive, review, and accurately process prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Attend to customers professionally and provide basic information about medications as directed by the pharmacist.
  • Receive, arrange, label, and store medicines and other pharmacy products appropriately.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify products that are low, expired, damaged, or close to their expiry dates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND/HND in Pharmacy Technician studies or a relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
  • Must be licensed/registered with the appropriate regulatory body where applicable.
  • Previous experience in a community pharmacy is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of common medications and pharmacy procedures.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
