Job Description

  • The People Coordinator supports the effective delivery of the People, the Culture and Operations at Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort by ensuring smooth employee onboarding, accurate people, staff engagement, and compliance with internal policies. The role focuses on creating a positive employee experience while supporting operational excellence and service culture.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate end-to-end employee onboarding, including documentation, onboarding schedules and induction sessions.
  • Ensure all new employees are properly introduced to Glocient culture, values, policies, and service standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new employees during their settling-in period.

People Operations & Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and files using software's.
  • Support payroll inputs by ensuring attendance, leave, and staff movement data are properly documented and submitted.

Policy Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary documentation under guidance.
  • Promote adherence to workplace ethics, conduct, culture and labor regulations.

Engagement, Learning & Culture

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and staff events.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing training, workshops, and internal communications.
  • Help embed Glocient Hospitality's service culture and performance mindset across teams.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare basic people metrics and reports (headcount, attendance, leave, onboarding status etc).
  • Liaise with team heads to ensure alignment on people-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 13 years experience in HR operations, people coordination, or administration (hospitality experience is an advantage).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
