Our client, a well-established multi-franchise automotive dealership based in Bedfordview, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced and motivated New Vehicle Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the New Vehicle Sales Department, driving sales performance, leading and developing the sales team, and ensuring departmental profitability. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle sales within a franchised dealership Minimum 3 years' experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager Proven track record of achieving sales targets and departmental profitability Strong leadership and team management experience Experience in a multi-franchise dealership environment will be advantageous Sound understanding of dealership operations, stock management and vehicle sales processes Strong financial and business acumen Experience working with dealership management systems and CRM platforms Valid driver's licence Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the New Vehicle Sales Department Drive monthly vehicle sales targets and maximise departmental profitability Lead, motivate, coach and develop the sales team Monitor sales performance, individual targets and departmental KPIs Implement effective sales strategies to increase sales volumes and market share Manage vehicle stock levels, stock ageing and vehicle ordering Oversee the sales pipeline, lead management and customer follow-ups Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction levels Monitor gross profit margins, budgets and departmental expenses Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards Work closely with the Dealer Principal and F&I Department to optimise dealership performance Key Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent sales and negotiation abilities Target-driven with a strong focus on profitability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities Please note: Only candidates with relevant New Vehicle Sales Management experience within a franchised automotive dealership will be considered.
