Growth Marketing Manager (demand Generation & Ai) - Remote

Shift Markets

Remote, south-africa

Full Time

Shift Markets builds white-label trading infrastructure for FX brokers, crypto exchanges, iGaming operators and fintechs. Founded in New York in 2009 with roots in FX technology, we have helped 250+ exchanges and brokerages go live, with more than $2 trillion in total volume traded and 10 million registered end users on our platform. Our clients add crypto trading, payments, and prediction markets without rebuilding their stack. We are a global team with a shared mission to innovate in crypto infrastructure. Whether collaborating in office, connecting remotely, or representing Shift at industry events, we work together as one to move finance forward. We believe collaboration fuels creativity, diversity drives strength, and curiosity keeps us ahead of the curve. Every great company is built by great people. Join us to help shape the future of digital asset infrastructure. About the Role This is a senior, hands-on role working directly with our marketing lead as his right hand. You will own B2B demand generation end-to-end (paid media, landing pages, email, and the funnel through to Sales) and you will build the AI systems that let a small team produce the output of a much bigger one. We are not looking for someone who asks an AI tool to write a social post. We are looking for someone who has built workflows that monitor the market, competitors, and industry news, surface insights proactively and draft assets for human review, and who has the marketing judgment to know what good looks like. What You’ll Be Doing Own B2B paid acquisition across LinkedIn and Google: campaign builds, targeting, creative testing, conversion tracking and budget allocation. Audit our ad accounts and website early on, cut wasted spend and fix what is underperforming. Build and optimise landing pages and run CRO tests across the funnel: ad, landing page, form, CRM, email nurture, Sales handoff. Report on what matters: qualified leads, pipeline and revenue, not just clicks or cost per lead. Design, build and maintain AI workflows for research, competitor and news monitoring, content drafting and reporting, with human review before anything goes live. Lead Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) so Shift shows up when buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI engines about crypto infrastructure. Oversee AI-assisted content and social output with support from junior team members. Contribute to brand, PR, events, partnerships, podcasts and industry publications, and help shape quarterly marketing plans, including campaigns for new verticals such as online gaming operators and prediction markets. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of hands-on B2B digital marketing, with recent personal ownership of paid campaigns on LinkedIn. Concrete results you personally drove: spend, acquisition costs, pipeline and revenue. Hands-on experience building landing pages and running conversion tests. Email marketing and CRM experience (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar), including nurture and lead routing. AI workflows or automations you have built and use in your marketing work today. Be ready to show them. Strong marketing judgement and clear, specific written communication. Comfortable as a hands-on individual contributor in a small team. Bonus Points AEO, SEO or generative-engine optimisation experience. Experience in crypto, fintech, payments, iGaming or B2B SaaS. Earlier-career content or social media experience. Zapier, n8n or similar automation tools; dashboards and data visualisation. Why join Shift? Direct impact: you work alongside the marketing lead, and your decisions ship in days, not quarters. An AI-forward team that expects you to build systems, not just use tools. A front-row seat in crypto infrastructure, prediction markets and payments as they reshape finance. A global, remote team with flexibility across time zones. This is a remote, 40-hour-per-week role. The successful candidate must maintain meaningful working-hour overlap with the New York team.
