Position Overview

We are seeking a competent and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, timely delivery, cost optimization, accurate inventory management, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes to optimize costs and operational performance.
  • Manage fleet operations, dispatch activities, delivery schedules, and transportation providers.
  • Liaise with procurement and production teams to ensure seamless supply and distribution operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records through regular audits and cycle counts.
  • Establish and maintain effective warehouse practices for the proper storage and handling of goods.
  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate logistics personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party transport and logistics service providers.
  • Prepare and present logistics performance reports and operational insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, transportation, and shipping regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics management software.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets and negotiate service contracts.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
