Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Key Account Officer to manage and grow relationships with the company's major and strategic B2B customers.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue from existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities within key clients, and ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key/high-value corporate accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across assigned accounts.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to increase customer value and retention.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and other commercial agreements.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate products/services or solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial reports.
  • Monitor account performance, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Track market and competitor activities and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM or other reporting tools.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of proven B2B sales/key account management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, strategic, or high-value corporate accounts.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth, account retention, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong experience in client relationship management and commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to identify and convert upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools
