Job Summary
The Foos Service Manager is to own and grow the Food Service channel within the assigned region.
The role drives revenue growth, new customer acquisition, customer retention and recipe switching, and the field team that delivers them.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the regional Food Service revenue and customer targets.
Lead, coach and manage the regional team of Key Account Officers, Telesales Officers and Delivery Officers through clear KPIs, routines and performance reviews.
Drive new customer acquisition and coverage growth across institutions, schools, eateries, vendors and caterers.
Drive recipe switching, detailing and pre-selling execution in the field and convert them into sustained sales.
Track performance against target, identify gaps by customer, route and officer, establish the cause, and own the recovery plan.
Work with the General Trade team and distributors to resolve stock availability and transaction issues affecting Food Service execution.
Report performance to leadership with clear analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. A culinary or food industry background is an added advantage, not a requirement.
Minimum 5 years of commercial or sales experience in FMCG, food service, HORECA or a related B2B environment, with at least 2 years managing a field team.
Proven track record of delivering revenue targets and growing a customer base.
Strong business analysis skills. Must be hands-on with Excel (formulas, analysis of performance data) and PowerPoint (building and presenting business reviews).
Strong people leadership: setting KPIs, coaching, and building the capability of a team.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with distributor and General Trade structures.
Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication.
Strong background in medical detailing or pharmaceutical sales who have successfully driven product growth, managed healthcare stakeholder relationships, and demonstrated strong commercial acumen.
Experience as an Off-Trade Manager, with a proven track record of managing distributor relationships, developing channel strategies, and delivering revenue and profitability targets.
