Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of trade test 1-3 certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a HVAC TECHNICIAN is preferred
  • Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-circuit faults on VRV systems, AHUs, and chillers. Monitor and respond to BMS alarms and trends; support fault-finding using BMS data. Check thermostat calibration, compressor amperage, and condenser performance; carry out deep cleans on schedule. Support chiller-specific tasks: water treatment checks, pump and cooling-tower inspection, and load monitoring. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and defect reports using the facility's CMMS/CAFM platform. Respond promptly to HVAC-related emergency call-outs, including out-of-hours where required.
