We are seeking a skilled and experienced In-House DX AC Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of Direct Expansion (DX) air-conditioning systems within a facility.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with split, cassette, and ducted AC systems and be capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, and repair split, cassette, and ducted AC systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of AC units.
Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling, electrical, refrigeration, and control-system faults.
Check and record refrigerant pressure, voltage, current, and temperature readings.
Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and system evacuation.
Carry out copper pipe installation, brazing, repair, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
Replace and repair compressors, motors, PCBs, sensors, capacitors, and other AC components.
Inspect, clean, and repair condensate drainage systems.
Conduct testing and commissioning after installation, servicing, or repairs.
Identify potential equipment issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure all assigned HVAC systems remain operational and perform efficiently
Requirements
Technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of hands-on experience working with DX air-conditioning systems in a commercial, residential, or facility environment.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
Good knowledge of refrigeration and electrical principles related to AC systems.
Ability to use basic HVAC tools and testing instruments, including gauges, multimeters, and clamp meters.
Practical experience with refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, brazing, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
