We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support end-to- end HR operations across our brands. The successful candidate will provide high-quality HR support aligned with organizational strategy, promote employee engagement and wellbeing, and ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPS, and Kenyan labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, confirmations, and contracting.
  • Support performance management, employee relations, welfare, benefits, wellness, and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Provide payroll support, manage attendance records, and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date HR records, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, SOPs, Kenyan labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support disciplinary processes, exit interviews, and separation procedures in line with organizational policy and best practice.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' progressive experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Professional HR qualification, preferably CHRP-K or equivalent; current IHRM membership.
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and other applicable Kenyan labour laws.
  • Legal training or studies will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
