Job Position: HR Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Summary
We are suitably an qualified and experienced HR Manager to lead and coordinate our Human Resources function.
The HR Manager will be responsible for providing leadership across the organisation's people function and ensuring that HR strategies, policies and practices effectively support business objectives.
The role will oversee key areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, HR compliance and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with organisational objectives.
Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee integration processes.
Coordinate performance management and support managers in addressing performance gaps.
Identify workforce capability gaps and coordinate relevant learning and development interventions.
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns professionally.
Coordinate compensation, benefits, leave administration and other employee-related processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, organisational policies and HR best practices.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and management reports.
Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent management initiatives.
Provide HR advisory support to management and line managers on people-related matters.
Drive employee engagement and contribute to building a positive and performance-driven workplace culture.
Monitor relevant HR metrics and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated experience managing key HR functions.
Relevant professional HR certification will be an advantage.
Previous experience in an HR supervisory or managerial capacity is desirable.
Sound understanding of HR practices, employment regulations and workplace compliance.
