  • PE Lifts Services Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow its elevator maintenance, repairs, modernization and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) business.
  • The ideal candidate will be a technical-commercial leader with strong elevator industry experience and proven ability to manage service operations, customers, teams and commercial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all elevator maintenance, repairs, breakdown response and service operations.
  • Grow the company's AMC portfolio, renewals and recurring service revenue.
  • Develop third-party maintenance and modernization opportunities.
  • Manage service engineers, technicians, supervisors and support teams.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, technical quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage AMC pricing, budgets, costs, margins, revenue and profitability.
  • Lead major repairs and elevator modernization projects.
  • Manage key customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
  • Establish effective service processes, KPIs, reporting and performance controls.
  • Provide Management with accurate operational and financial performance reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 - 15+ years' relevant experience, preferably within the elevator/vertical transportation industry.
  • Proven experience managing elevator maintenance/service operations.
  • Strong knowledge of traction, MRL, hydraulic and other elevator systems.
  • Multi-brand elevator experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience managing AMC contracts, renewals and customer retention.
  • Experience managing technicians/engineers and service teams.
  • Strong commercial, budgeting and P&L understanding.
  • Experience in repairs, modernization and spare-parts management.
  • Strong leadership, customer management and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics,
  • Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
  • MBA/MSc or relevant management qualification is an advantage.
