Job & Company Description A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Controller - Finance to join its finance leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to drive financial reporting integrity, Group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis while strengthening financial controls and governance across the business. The successful candidate will combine strong IFRS expertise with commercial acumen, analytical thinking and the confidence to engage with senior management and executives. Job Experience & Skills Required Coordinate and review monthly management, Executive and Board reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and financial integrity. Oversee Group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and consistent accounting practices across entities. Coordinate annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, critically evaluating financial assumptions, cash flow, margins, costs and capital expenditure. Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, investigating variances and providing actionable business insights. Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS, complex transactions, accounting judgements and financial statement disclosures. Review financial controls, audit findings, segregation of duties and financial reporting risks, ensuring appropriate corrective action. Drive continuous improvement through reporting automation, enhanced financial systems, improved data quality and streamlined processes. Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, constructively challenging assumptions and communicating complex financial matters in a clear, commercially relevant manner. Qualifications & Experience A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field. A professional accounting qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. Significant experience in financial reporting, financial control and financial analysis. Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, technical accounting and Group consolidation. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial performance analysis and financial controls. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial systems and analytical capabilities.
