  • LexMedical is seeking a Field Sales Officer to help expand our network of healthcare partners, particularly private hospitals, clinics and specialist centres.
  • The role is primarily field-based and involves identifying potential healthcare partners, engaging decision-makers, presenting LexMedical's digital healthcare solutions, qualifying opportunities, following up on prospects and supporting successful partner activation.
  • This is a target-driven sales role. Success will be measured by productive field activity, qualified opportunities generated, sales pipeline progression, activated partnerships and revenue generated from accounts originated by the Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and visit target hospitals, clinics and specialist centres within assigned territories.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, including hospital owners, medical directors, administrators and clinic managers.
  • Present LexMedical's products and digital healthcare solutions to prospective partners.
  • Understand each organisation's needs and service gaps to identify suitable sales opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings, product demonstrations, presentations and proposal discussions.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and move qualified opportunities through the sales process.
  • Support the onboarding and activation of new healthcare partners.
  • Maintain relationships with newly activated partners and support early utilisation.
  • Escalate complex, high-value or integration-related opportunities to the Head, Partnerships & Integrations.
  • Provide market feedback, including competitor activity, customer objections, pricing concerns and emerging healthcare needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, follow-ups, opportunities and outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Health/Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in field sales, business development, customer acquisition or a related role.
  • Healthcare-sector experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with hospital and clinic decision-makers.
  • Willingness to conduct regular field visits and work towards sales targets.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain digital-health products in simple, practical terms.
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM/pipeline tracking and business reporting.
  • Self-motivated, organised, persistent and able to work independently.

Performance Expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Complete a minimum baseline of 20 targeted institutional visits per month, subject to the approved territory and field plan.
  • Consistently generate and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline with a clear next action and follow-up date for every active opportunity.
  • Progress qualified prospects towards meetings, presentations, proposals and commercial discussions.
  • Demonstrate meaningful sales pipeline progression by Day 60.
  • Maintain a credible active pipeline with advanced opportunities and evidence of movement towards activation and revenue by Day 90.
  • Contribute to partner activation and revenue generation from Officer-originated accounts.

Other Information

  • This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within assigned territories.
  • The Officer will work closely with the Head, Partnerships & Integrations and relevant LexMedical teams.
  • The position is subject to an initial 90-day performance review and ongoing monthly and quarterly performance assessment.
  • Strong sales performance, initiative and demonstrated ability to convert prospects into active healthcare partners will be highly valued.
