Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Perform and interpret relevant cardiovascular investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring and other cardiac diagnostics.
Manage complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and other cardiac disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Conduct regular inpatient and outpatient cardiology reviews and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Collaborate effectively with cardiothoracic surgeons, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to medical officers, residents, nurses and other clinical staff.
Participate in and lead clinical meetings, case reviews, morbidity/mortality reviews and continuing professional development programmes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records.
Promote and implement clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards.
Support the development and expansion of cardiology services and specialist programmes within the Centre.
Participate in health education, preventive cardiology and patient counselling.
Keep abreast of current developments, guidelines and innovations in cardiovascular medicine.
Contribute to the Centre\'s goal of delivering high-quality, internationally benchmarked cardiovascular care.
Requirements
MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
Fellowship in Cardiology/Internal Medicine from a recognized professional body.
Minimum of 10 years' post-fellowship experience in cardiology.
