What You'll Be Doing

Community Building & Engagement

  • Build, grow, and nurture the Trimmers community, creating genuine connections with members and prospective members.
  • Develop creative ways to attract new members, increase engagement, and encourage repeat visits and referrals.
  • Keep the community active through conversations, experiences, exclusive invitations, activations, and member-focused initiatives.
  • Understand our audience, what they enjoy, where they socialise, and what makes them want to belong to a premium community.
  • Help create a strong sense of exclusivity, belonging, and loyalty around the Trimmers brand.

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Manage Trimmers' social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content that reflects our brand personality and lifestyle.
  • Stay ahead of trending sounds, formats, conversations, memes, lifestyle moments, and digital culture, adapting relevant trends to suit our premium positioning.
  • Capture content during in-house experiences, events, activations, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Write compelling captions, develop content ideas, coordinate shoots, and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and convert online interest into enquiries, visits, and potential memberships.
  • Track content performance and use insights to improve reach, engagement, audience growth, and conversions.

Events, Networking & Brand Representation

  • Represent Trimmers at lifestyle events, nightlife experiences, networking sessions, launches, and other relevant social gatherings.
  • Attend selected events alongside the CEO to build relationships, expand the brand's network, and identify potential members, partners, and collaborators.
  • Build relationships with influencers, creatives, entrepreneurs, public figures, event organizers, and other relevant personalities.
  • Identify opportunities for brand partnerships, collaborations, event sponsorships, and community activations.
  • Ensure every public interaction reflects Trimmers' premium image, values, and standards.

Brand Experience & Activations

  • Develop exciting concepts for member experiences, social gatherings, themed events, and lifestyle activations.
  • Collaborate with the Growth, Sales, and Operations teams to create experiences that attract the right audience and support business growth.
  • Help communicate our membership benefits, services, events, and brand stories in ways that feel aspirational, relevant, and authentic.
  • Bring fresh ideas that make Trimmers a recognizable name within the city's lifestyle and social scene.

Growth & Reporting

  • Monitor social media growth, engagement, event attendance, community activity, and membership enquiries.
  • Provide regular updates on content performance, audience feedback, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Identify opportunities to turn followers, event connections, and community engagement into paying members.
  • Maintain a forward-looking content calendar and event participation plan.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and contemporary digital culture.
  • Demonstrable experience creating or managing engaging social media content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Basic photography and videography skills, including shooting content with a smartphone.
  • Familiarity with content planning tools, social media analytics, and scheduling platforms.
