The role also manages housekeeping standards and all facilities-related vendors, including statutory engagement with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA). Key Responsibilities Housekeeping: Set, monitor and enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards across the plant, offices, canteen, restrooms and common areas. Prepare cleaning schedules, checklists and inspection routines. Manage the housekeeping team's rosters, supplies and equipment. Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective action is taken promptly. Oversee pest control and fumigation programmes. Waste Management and LAWMA Liaison: Ensure proper segregation, collection, storage and disposal of general and industrial waste. Serve as the primary contact with LAWMA and its accredited waste contractors. Maintain valid registrations, permits, waste manifests and payment records. Schedule waste collections to prevent overflow and site contamination. Ensure compliance with Lagos State environmental regulations and the plant's EHS policies.
