Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and ITPs.
  • Uphold ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional standards at all times.
  • Integrate HSE requirements into planning and execution; participate in toolbox talks and PTW processes.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports, progress updates, material requisitions, and technical logs.
  • Coordinate with QS and procurement for material take-offs, MIRs, and supplier approvals.
  • Track work progress against schedule; report variances and recovery actions to the Team Lead.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities and punch-list closure
  • Maintain ISO-compliant documentation (revision control, traceability, audit readiness).
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, client representatives, and consultants during inspections and reviews.
  • Escalate technical risks and non-conformities; implement remedial actions under supervision.
  • Uphold ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional standards at all times.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements; raise RFIs for clarifications.
  • Perform QA/QC checks: material verification, inspection requests, test witnessing, NCR follow-up.
  • Check technical designs and drawing to ensure that they are followed correctly

Essential Requirements

  • First Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Building or a related discipline.
  • Must be COREN certified
  • ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 awareness training (Required).
  • Minimum of 9-11 years in construction engineering roles including site supervision, QA/QC, and documentation (Mandatory).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Project (or similar); familiarity with discipline software (Required).
  • Excellent leadership & managerial skills
  • Must have knowledge of construction design.
