Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Male Chef to oversee food preparation and kitchen operations for employees, management, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental meals.
  • Plan daily menus and ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a corporate, industrial, hotel, or similar environment.
  • Certificate or qualification in Catering, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian and continental cuisine.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
  • Ability to prepare meals for a large number of people.
  • Good knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe operating practices.
  • Basic practical knowledge of engineering and safe operation of kitchen equipment is required.
  • Ability to identify and report basic equipment faults and maintenance issues.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet meal schedules.
  • High level of cleanliness, discipline, reliability, and attention to detail.
