Key Responsibilities

Product Management:

  • Own and manage the Scanfrost product portfolio across assigned categories.
  • Develop deep knowledge of product specifications, features, technology, quality and consumer requirements.
  • Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for portfolio improvement.
  • Identify gaps in the portfolio and recommend new SKUs and product categories.
  • Continuously benchmark Scanfrost products against competitors.

Product Pricing & Costing:

  • Develop and manage product pricing based on cost, margins, competition and market positioning.
  • Analyse product costing, landed cost and gross margins.
  • Conduct regular competitor price benchmarking.
  • Recommend pricing changes based on market conditions, cost movements and competition.
  • Maintain detailed SKU-wise pricing and profitability analysis.

New Product Development:

  • Identify new product opportunities based on consumer needs, market trends and competitor launches.
  • Develop detailed product briefs covering specifications, features, target cost and target selling price.
  • Work closely with factories/OEMs and suppliers for development of new products.
  • Manage the complete NPD process from concept specification sample approval production launch.
  • Ensure new products are commercially viable and meet Scanfrost's quality and price expectations.

Production & Supply Coordination:

  • Coordinate with factories/OEMs on production planning and product requirements.
  • Ensure production is aligned with approved specifications and commercial requirements.
  • Track production schedules and resolve product-related issues.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of products.
  • Monitor product quality and coordinate corrective actions where required.

Market & Consumer Understanding:

  • Understand consumer requirements and translate them into product specifications.
  • Track competitor products, features, technology, pricing and launches.
  • Conduct regular market visits and gather feedback from Sales, Dealers and Consumers.
  • Recommend changes to the Scanfrost portfolio based on market intelligence.

Required Experience and Skills
