About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented PI Case Manager Assistant to join our dynamic Pre-Litigation Department. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our client advocacy team, partnering directly with Case Managers to drive personal injury cases forward and ensure our clients receive the maximum settlement they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insurance Claim Management: Open and track insurance claims with carrier adjusters, health insurance subrogation departments, and MedPay/CARE providers.
  • Records & Report Retrieval: Order, track, and audit police reports, medical records, and billing statements from healthcare providers.
  • Client Coordination: Schedule medical appointments, arrange client transportation, and maintain regular, empathetic communication.
  • Financial & Balance Verification: Verify final and ongoing billing balances directly with medical providers to prepare files for settlement.
  • Demand Preparation: Organize and assemble complete, audit-ready case files for seamless handover to demand writers.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Case Manager Assistant, Case Manager, or Legal Assistant exclusively within Personal Injury (PI) law firms. (Please note: Intake Specialist profiles will not be considered).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress (Law, Health Sciences, or related fields preferred).
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English required; bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Hands-on experience working with Litify or Salesforce legal CRM platforms.
  • Proven background managing a high-volume pre-litigation caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.
