Business Development Officer At Poweredup Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new clients for Audit, Tax, Accounting, Advisory, Consulting, HR, and Training services.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, emails, and business visits.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual client acquisition and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and capability statements.
• Follow up on proposals and negotiations until deals are successfully closed.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to encourage repeat business and renewals.
• Submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales & Marketing.
• Experience in a professional services firm (Consulting, Audit, Tax, HR & Accounting Services) will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
